Our Impact

Since our founding, Enterprise Coast Ghana has:

  • Reached over 1,500 smallholder farmers with climate-resilient seeds and seedlings, improving agricultural productivity by 20%.
  • Planted more than 10,000 trees as part of our agroforestry and reforestation initiatives, contributing to biodiversity and land restoration.
  • Increased smallholder farmer incomes by promoting sustainable farming practices and improving yields.
  • Contributed to the restoration of the Asubima Forest Reserve, helping to rehabilitate degraded land.
  • Launched innovative digital tools for real-time information dissemination to farmers, helping them make informed decisions to improve their resilience to climate change.

D4C Project by Enterprise Coast Ghana, Funded by IOM Ghana

Enterprise Coast Ghana, with funding support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Ghana, is implementing the Diaspora for Climate Action (D4C) Project to train 200 smallholder farmers in agroforestry and sustainable farming practices, over 30000 climate resilient seedlings were supplied to farmers in the Bono East region.

The project aims to enhance climate resilience among farmers by equipping them with skills in climate-smart agriculture, afforestation, and biodiversity conservation. Through capacity-building workshops, practical demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing sessions, farmers are empowered to integrate agroforestry techniques that improve soil fertility, increase yields, and mitigate the effects of climate change.

By leveraging the expertise of the Ghanaian diaspora, the D4C Project fosters sustainable agricultural development while strengthening local economies and food security in Bono East.
